Potters Fall due to Curfew

The Lincoln Potters play neck-to-neck baseball the entire game, until the ninth inning Saturday night against the Humboldt Crabs. The Crabs took game two by a score of 8-7, scoring the eight run in the top of the ninth inning, not allowing the Potters to play the bottom half of the ninth, due to curfew; making the series 1-1. Damien Henderson (3-for-3, 4 RBIs, 1 HR) had himself a night, once again. Smacking another home run, making it three for this series as well as four RBIs on the evening. Tyler Mead receives his first loss on the season 2.0 innings, only giving up one run on two hits, striking out one. Zach Arnold (2-for-3, 4 RBI, 1 HR) ignited tonights offense with a grand slam in the bottom of the bottom of the second inning. Although, the ball did not make it all the way over the net, it still left the field in a hurry and put the Potters up three runs. Zach Bushling (3-for-5, 3 H, 2 R) had himself a night, going 3-for-5 with three hits during the 8-7 deficit. Steven Ouellette receives the win for this evenings controversial game ending, once again not giving the Potters a chance to tie/win the game. Make it back tomorrow night, 6/23 for Summerset Senior Sunday, and watch the Potters and the Crabs battle it out for the series finale!
